About a 20 minute drive is all that separated The Secret Sisters from being born in historic Muscle Shoals, Alabama, though its sheer proximity to their hometown of Happy Valley practically foretold that Laura and Lydia Rogers were destined for lives as recording and performing artists. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of the South and the powerful timeless music emanating from Muscle Shoals, The Secret Sisters were heavily influenced by a range of uniquely American musical styles, including country, bluegrass and gospel, as well as classic rock and pop. They were raised on a rich tapestry of music, listening to everything from George Jones and Loretta Lynn, to The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Ramones, Fiona Apple and Rufus Wainwright. Their debut album was soon lauded by critics and adored by their rapidly growing legion of fans. The stage was set for the sisters to advance as artists and further establish themselves as songwriters, which they proved to do on their sophomore album, Put Your Needle Down, an eclectic mix of musical styles and sounds rooted in storytelling. Luckily the duo had a powerhouse producer, T Bone Burnett, to help them on their first two albums. “We became friends with T Bone early on in our career and he’s been an amazing guide,” said Lydia. The Secret Sisters are always careful about how they want their music to sound. “I think that recording live is the best way that you can record an album because it really captures a band’s ability to glue themselves to one another and create something beautiful.” She adds, “There is something beautiful and honest about not being perfect.” For their third studio effort, the Sisters have tapped one of their heroes, Brandi Carlile, along with Tim and Phil Hanseroth, to produce. There is still an aura of mystery that surrounds The Secret Sisters, and they certainly like to keep their fans wondering where they’ll head next on their musical journey. But with Laura and Lydia, one thing is for certain: integrity and honesty will guide every note.

If you have ever seen The Perrys in concert, you have undoubtedly sensed the power and conviction with which they sing. From the high-octane, hand-clapping hit, “I Wish I Could Have Been There,” to the anointed anthem, “If You Knew Him,” the Dove Award-winning group has been delivering soul-stirring performances across North America for nearly five decades. The Perrys—Libbi Perry Stuffle, Jared Stuffle, Joseph Reed, and Cole Watson — have forged a deep sense of unity. This is due, in part, to the fires through which they have walked over the last few years. After battling a longterm illness, Tracy Stuffle, Libbi’s husband and Perrys’ esteemed bass singer, passed away on February 4, 2018. With unparalleled determination, Libbi and her beloved group have continued to heed the call to carry the Gospel to the multitudes.
Loved by gospel music fans around the world, The Perrys have earned many accolades over their illustrious career. In addition to their Dove Award for Song of the Year and countless Dove nominations, they have garnered numerous #1 songs and 15 Singing News Fan Awards, including the 3-time Favorite Mixed Group honor, 2-time Song of the Year, Favorite Album, as well as Libbi being named both a 2-time Female Vocalist of the Year and 9-time Favorite Alto of the Year.
A career spanning fifty five years, their commitment to the calling of God upon their lives has never been greater. “Now, more than ever,” says Libbi, “we want to share the good news of Jesus Christ in song.” The Perrys are looking toward the future with great expectation. One cannot help but be affected by their story of tragedy and triumph. The Perrys are living proof that God can work all things both for our good and for His glory. “Yes, life is tough,” Libbi shares, “and we all have battles—some we win and some we lose—but we can choose joy.”
In the book of Nehemiah, we read that the joy of the Lord is our strength. The Perrys are living proof of this promise, and they are stepping into this new season of ministry still declaring God’s faithfulness, still proclaiming His praises, and still choosing joy.

“I chose to survive,” Melissa Etheridge declares on “Being Alive,” the jubilant opening track of her 17th studio album, Rise, and the sentiment carries the weight of everything that followed her last record of new material, 2019’s The Medicine Show.

The years in between were anything but quiet. Unable to tour during the pandemic, Etheridge launched more than 200 episodes of Etheridge TV, wrote her memoir Talking to My Angels, and triumphed on Broadway with her one-woman show Melissa Etheridge: My Window. She also founded the Etheridge Foundation, focused on plant-based approaches to illness and addiction, and starred in the 2024 Paramount+ docuseries I’m Not Broken. Through it all, she carried profound personal grief — most devastatingly the 2021 opioid death of her son, Beckett.

On Sale starts Mon, Jun 15 ⦁ 10:00am Sixpence None the Richer with Augustana Thu, Aug 13, 2026 ⦁ 7:00pm Randy Owen Center Sixpence None the Richer with Augustana Skyrocketed to global fame when “Kiss Me” was released as a single, Sixpence None the Richer has helped shape the musical landscape across generations and continues to bring their music, both new and old, to audiences worldwide. Augustana has been a pivotal artist in the Pop/Rock genre since its ubiquitous, piano driven hit, “Boston” was released in 2005. Sixpence None the Richer began taking shape in New Braunfels, Texas in the early ‘90s, when guitarist Matt Slocum met vocalist Leigh Nash at a church retreat. The group recorded a demo before eventually signing with R.E.X. Records. Their debut LP, The Fatherless & the Widow, appeared in 1993 and their sophomore effort, 1995’s This Beautiful Mess won a Dove Award and was followed by the Tickets for a Prayer Wheel EP. In 1997, Sixpence None the Richer released their self-titled album and two years later exploded globally when the track “Kiss Me”, from that album, was released as a single. The song has been featured in countless movies and TV shows and catapulted Sixpence None the Richer’s starpower into the mainstream, earning airplay in more than ten different countries. Accolades continued as the band’s rendition of the La’s “There She Goes” also became a major hit. In fall 2002, Sixpence None the Richer returned to form with Divine Discontent. The band’s cover of the Crowded House classic “Don’t Dream It’s Over” pushed Sixpence None the Richer’s name back into the charts in early 2003. Although the group quietly disbanded in 2004, they remained active as individuals and continued to release music periodically, including the albums Dawn of Grace and Lost in Transition. Fast forward to 2024 and all-original members (Leigh Nash, Matt Slocum, Dale Baker, and Justin Cary) have reunited and are writing and recording new music and preparing for a world tour. As a taste of the new music, you can hear “The Tide” released in late 2023 as Leigh Nash + Sixpence None The RIcher, which has already amassed over 2 Million views and streams across platforms. Curb Records is also celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the band’s self-titled (Kiss Me) album by re-releasing it in a collectible vinyl series that also features the new track, “The Tide”. Sixpence None The Richer has helped shape the musical landscape across generations and are gearing up for an exciting road ahead. Guitarist/songwriter Matt Slocum met vocalist Leigh Nash at a church retreat in the early 1990s. They recorded a demo (which now circulates as The Original Demos) and eventually an album, The Fatherless and the Widow for R.E.X. Records in 1993. The record featured Chris Dodds (of Slocum’s band Love Coma) on drums. Shortly after the release of the album, Slocum left Love Coma to pursue Sixpence full time. The band added Tess Wiley (guitar), J.J. Plasencio (bass) and Dale Baker (drums) for 1995’s This Beautiful Mess. Both albums were produced by Armand John Petri. In 1997, the group signed to Steve Taylor’s Squint Entertainment and released a self-titled album, which slowly began garnering attention from a wider audience. In 1999, “Kiss Me” was released as a single, propelling Sixpence into the national pop spotlight. This song was also used in the film ‘She’s All That’. The next year, the band recorded a cover of The La’s “There She Goes”, which became their second hit single. This recording was added to the re-release of Sixpence’s self-titled album as a 13th track. The band had a follow up album ready to release, but Squint Entertainment started to fall apart – leaving the band in limbo for several years. Finally, Squint Entertainment was taken over by Word Records and that album, Divine Discontent, was released in October of 2002. It differed significantly from the first pre-release version of the album that had circulated, with five songs removed and six added. On February 26, 2004, Matt Slocum announced via a letter to CCM Magazine that the group had disbanded. That same year, Best of was released, which also collected some of the Divine Discontent outtakes, and tracks from compilations. Matt Slocum has started a new band, the Astronaut Pushers which released their debut EP in 2005. Leigh Nash released her debut Solo Album Blue On Blue on 15 August 2006 on her personal label, One Son Records. The first single, My Idea of Heaven, was released to USA radio the week of 14 July 2006. In November 2007, Leigh and Matt met over coffee and positively discussed the reuniting of Sixpence.
