The Dolphins Quartet is an award winning string quartet currently studying at The Juilliard School in New York City.

Our goal is to unite spirits in celebration of community through musical interpretation, innovation, and improvisation.

We are dedicated to representing historically relevant repertoire, composing personal musical illustrations, exploring spontaneous depictions of human experience, and sharing.

A premier Juilliard string quartet based in New York and formed in Blue Hill, Maine at the 2022 Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, the quartet has performed, taught, and collaborated nationwide. Its members have won top prizes at major national and international competitions, including The Fischoff and Coltman chamber music competitions and have performed across America and Europe. The Dolphins have been frequently featured at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, performing the Juilliard premiere of Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s String Quartet No. 4, Villa-Lobos’ String Quartet No. 5, as well as world premieres of numerous contemporary works. The Dolphins work closely with living composers, recently performing John Corigliano’s 1995 String Quartet and Daniel Ficarri’s ‘Lessons from the Neighborhood’. In 2023, the Dolphins presented their first collective composition, ‘The Dolphin Miniatures’.

In April 2024, the Dolphins performed John Adams’ string quartet concerto, Absolute Jest, with John Adams conducting the Juilliard orchestra in Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall. This past summer, the Dolphins performed as Shouse Fellows at the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival in Michigan, the St Lawrence Quartet Seminar at Stanford University, and Music from Angel Fire in New Mexico.

The Dolphins are fortunate to have studied with Joseph Lin, Joel Krosnick, Laurie Smukler, Natasha Brofsky, Molly Carr, Nick Mann, Fred Sherry, Paul Neubauer, John Corigliano, and the Juilliard String Quartet.

The Dolphins helped launch the ‘Music for the Future’ educational campaign for Project: Music Heals Us, bringing Juilliard composition curriculums to prisons in California. The Dolphins are proud Juilliard Gluck Community Service Fellows and perform outreach concerts throughout NYC. The Dolphins have served as teaching artists for the CMS Lincoln Center’s Meet the Music series as well as Juilliard’s Young Peoples Concerts series. In 2024, the Dolphins will visit multiple universities and conservatories as guest artists to perform and work with students on quartets and improvisation.

Acoustic Show Sometimes a band comes along and does things just a little bit different… Setting their sights outside the box. That Band is…  JD Cable & ‘The Empty Bottle Band… Blending the driving force of Classic and Southern Rock and Heart and Soul of Outlaw Country, J.D. Cable is anything but your ‘run of the mill’ Front Man. Growing up in small town Indiana, J.D. played and sang everything from Rock, Country Gospel and even BarberShop Style Music. All of which have helped J.D. develop his smooth yet aggressive blend of genres and breath taking Harmonies. After Graduating High School, J.D. joined the United States Army and the Legendary 2nd Armored Division Band Playing with some of the Finest Concert Musicians in the Country ultimately being selected to perform as Lead Vocalist for the elite U.S. Army Express Showband Playing at installations all over the United States and Europe opening for acts Like Night Ranger, 38Special and Country Music Star Sylvia. Since his departure from the Military J.D. Has been playing across the Country opening for Acts Like Craig Morgan, BlackberrySmoke, Uncle Kracker, D.B. Bryant Band, Kiss Army and Many More! Along with Drummer Alan ‘A.K.’ Kincer, Jared Piper on Lead Guitar and Bassist Jason Moorehouse, ‘The Empty Bottle Band’ puts on an Electric performance enjoyed by All!

Brotherhood is a six-member band from Atlanta faithfully recreating the Doobie Brothers music and vocal harmonies while putting on a show that captivates and involves the audience. You will hear upbeat good time rock and roll hits from the early years like “Listen To The Music”, “Jesus Is Just Alright”, “Long Train Runnin’”, “China Grove”, “Rockin’ Down the Highway” and “Black Water” as well as smooth grooves from the Michael McDonald era such as “What A Fool Believes”, “Depending on You”, “It Keeps you Runnin’” and “Minute by Minute”.
