SUMMARY:Blackhawk at Oxford Performing Arts Center
DESCRIPTION:In the mid-90s\, BlackHawk was the sound of country radio at its most soulful. Goodbye Says It All\, Every Once in a While\, I Sure Can Smell the Rain were not just hits; they were mood\, atmosphere\, and three voices braided together with uncommon natural ease. Henry Paul\, Van Stephenson\, and Dave Robbins built something rare: a trio where every voice mattered and every harmony landed. Their music holds up beautifully.

Survivors of the counterculture\, arena rock\, and everything in between\, they continue to fly with the same adventurous spirit that’s kept them going for five decades. SUMMARY:Jersey Boys: The Broadway Musical at Oxford Performing Arts Center
DESCRIPTION:Four kids from the streets of New Jersey\, one shot at the big time. Jersey Boys tells the electrifying true story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons: the feuds\, the debts\, the screaming harmonies\, and the songs that somehow outlasted everything. Sherry\, Big Girls Don’t Cry\, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. This Tony Award-winning Broadway smash is funny\, fierce\, and full of music that still sounds like a number one hit from the very first note. MATURE THEMES • VERY STRONG LANGUAGE

SUMMARY:Lonestar at Oxford Performing Arts Center
DESCRIPTION:Amazed became the first country song to spend eight consecutive weeks at number one in 1999\, and it’s been playing at weddings ever since. But Lonestar’s catalog runs much deeper. I’m Already There\, Come Cryin’ to Me\, Smile are anthems of love and longing that this Nashville quartet delivers with harmony-rich warmth and the kind of emotional sincerity that never goes out of style. Their music doesn’t just sound good. It feels right.

SUMMARY:Melissa Etheridge at Oxford Performing Arts Center
DESCRIPTION:Event Details\n“I chose to survive\,” Melissa Etheridge declares on “Being Alive\,” the jubilant opening track of her 17th studio album\, Rise\, and the sentiment carries the weight of everything that followed her last record of new material\, 2019’s The Medicine Show. \n  \nThe years in between were anything but quiet. Unable to tour during the pandemic\, Etheridge launched more than 200 episodes of Etheridge TV\, wrote her memoir Talking to My Angels\, and triumphed on Broadway with her one-woman show Melissa Etheridge: My Window. She also founded the Etheridge Foundation\, focused on plant-based approaches to illness and addiction\, and starred in the 2024 Paramount+ docuseries I’m Not Broken. Through it all\, she carried profound personal grief — most devastatingly the 2021 opioid death of her son\, Beckett. \n  \nRise is where she processes it all.

SUMMARY:Ramble Tamble: The CCR Experience at Oxford Performing Arts Center
DESCRIPTION:There’s a bad moon rising over the stage\, and you’re gonna love it. Ramble Tamble brings the swampy\, roof rattling sound of Creedence Clearwater Revival back to electrifying life\, from the searing guitar of Fortunate Son to the murky bayou groove of Born on the Bayou. Meticulous in craft and explosive in performance\, they don’t just cover CCR. They inhabit it. Bring your dancing shoes.

SUMMARY:Hank Williams IV & The Lost Highway Band: Roadside Grill With Hank 4 live
DESCRIPTION:Meet Hank Williams IV—or as some call him\, Ricky Fitzgearld—but let’s be real\, “The Black Sheep” of country music’s most legendary bloodline sounds way cooler. The world may not have fully uncovered his story yet\, but make no mistake—his DNA practically yells in a Southern drawl. The raw grit of Hank Sr.\, the outlaw fire of Hank Jr.\, and now\, Hank IV? He’s got the best of both worlds\, and he’s not here to ask for permission. \nWhen he steps on stage\, it’s not just music—it’s a resurrection of country’s golden days\, a sound passed down through generations\, echoing from honky-tonks to arenas. Singing the anthems of his legendary grandfather and father\, he doesn’t just honor tradition—he sets it ablaze with his own rebel soul. \nAnd let’s get one thing straight: Hank IV isn’t riding coattails—he’s cutting his own trail through the dirt roads of country music\, and fans can’t get enough. The Williams name ain’t just a legacy—it’s a living\, breathing force in country music. And trust me\, Hank IV is making sure that tradition stays alive\, loud\, and damn proud.

SUMMARY:Drake White at Oxford Performing Arts Center
DESCRIPTION:Drake White doesn’t just sing. He testifies. The Alabama-born singer-songwriter delivers Livin’ the Dream and It Feels Good with a preacher’s conviction and an open heart\, blending Southern rock\, country\, and gospel into something entirely his own. After surviving a complex brain procedure in 2017\, his music carries even more weight. A man who came back from the edge and kept singing\, louder and truer than before. You feel every word.

SUMMARY:Lana White & The Heights- @OPAC
DESCRIPTION:Lana White & The Heights heads to Oxford to kick off our 2026-27 10×10 Series. Originally from Oxford\, Alabama\, Huntsville-based singer-songwriter Lana White delivers a soulful blend of Indie soft-rock. Since beginning her career in the early 2000s\, Lana has built an extensive catalog\, including five LPs and three EPs. Her 2024 release\, Be My Own Sunshine\, was recorded at Huntsville’s Five Points Recording and supported by a summer of live performances. \nWhile Lana spent years as a solo artist\, her latest evolution is Lana White & The Heights. Rejuvenated by this new collaboration\, the band returned to the studio in early 2025 to craft a collection of “intense\, romanticized Indie Pop.” Following the album’s November 2025 release\, the group is currently touring and building buzz online.
